What to expect for my 1st Massage visit?

On your first visit, you will fill out a case history, discuss treatment expectations and goals, and establish a massage treatment plan.
During your visit, Garry or Daniel will assess muscle imbalances, over active and under-active muscle groups, and compensating postural concerns.

Do I need an MD Prescription?

Anyone can receive a Remedial Massage performed by an RMT in Manitoba without a Medical Doctors Prescription.
Some Insurance plans require an MD note stating the problem area and diagnosis. With these plans lifestyle reasons, relaxation, and stress relief are often not accepted.

Things to ask your Insurance Company before Massage Therapy.

Find out the TOTAL AMOUNT of massage coverage you have for the year. It often ranges from $350/year up to $1000/year.
Find out the PERCENTAGE OF COVERAGE FOR EACH MASSAGE. It often ranges from 80% up to 100%.
Find out if you require an MD NOTE.
Find out if you have to pay a DEDUCTIBLE.
Ask if each family member is covered. With multiple insurance coverage, your primary plan must be used first completely before you can use your spouses and visa versa. Children generally are grouped with the mother’s coverage first.

Do you accept MPI or WCB claims?

Unfortunately, MPI OR WCB will not cover Massage Therapy performed by a Massage Therapist

What methods of Payment do you accept?

Do you have a Cancellation Policy?

We accept the following methods of payment: Mastercard, VISA, INTERAC, Debit, CASH, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay & Discover.

We ask that you give 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If no notice is given, a charge will apply for the time reserved if we are not able to fill it. This is necessary in order to run our practice in a stable manner.

Can you Direct Bill my Insurance Company?

We do not Direct Bill Insurance. For Insurance Providers, at the time of appointment, a massage receipt will be issued, allowing insurance companies to reimburse you when submited.
